The Role
Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, this is a pivotal role responsible for driving profitable growth across all digital acquisition channels. You’ll take ownership of the performance marketing strategy from end to end - planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting - while ensuring all channels are delivering against ambitious KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and delivering a multi-channel performance marketing strategy (SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Display, App)
- Managing and optimising significant digital budgets (7-figure spend)
- Leading agency relationships to ensure delivery against performance targets
- Building and maintaining robust forecasting models and reporting on performance
- Driving continuous testing through structured A/B and CRO roadmaps
- Overseeing email and SMS marketing to improve retention and customer lifetime value
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align digital activity with wider trading and marketing plans
- Supporting full-funnel campaign delivery, including brand activity
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Identifying new growth opportunities and improving overall digital effectiveness
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for a commercially driven digital marketing specialist with strong analytical and strategic capabilities.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in a performance/digital marketing role, ideally within retail or eCommerce
- Strong understanding of core digital channels including SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, and Display
- Experience managing agencies and large marketing budgets
- Solid knowledge of attribution models and performance measurement
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Experience with email/CRM platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic HTML
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data (including Excel)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
