The Role

We’re partnering with an ambitious, growing digital marketing agency that’s looking to add a Paid Media Executive to its expanding performance marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already built a solid foundation in Google Ads and is looking to accelerate their career within an agency that genuinely invests in its people. You’ll have the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of eCommerce and lead generation clients, supporting campaigns with monthly budgets up to £100k/month.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team where learning is encouraged and progression is genuinely achievable. Rather than simply managing campaigns, you’ll gain exposure to the wider commercial picture, learning how paid media contributes to business growth and how successful agencies build long-term client partnerships.

Day to day, you’ll be involved in planning, building, optimising and analysing campaigns across Google Ads, while also developing your knowledge across paid social channels including Meta and LinkedIn. Working closely with experienced Paid Media Specialists and senior members of the team, you’ll receive ongoing coaching as you gradually take ownership of larger accounts and more complex campaign strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building, managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display and Performance Max.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and making data-led optimisation decisions.
  • Conducting keyword research, audience analysis and competitor research.
  • Managing campaign budgets and bid strategies to maximise return on investment.
  • Creating meaningful reports that demonstrate campaign performance and identify future opportunities.
  • Supporting landing page testing and conversion rate optimisation initiatives.
  • Running A/B tests across creative, messaging and campaign structures.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve account performance through automation, AI tools and platform innovation.
  • Supporting paid social campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn, with full training provided where required.
  • Attending client meetings alongside senior colleagues, gradually developing the confidence to present campaign performance and explain optimisation strategies.
  • Keeping up to date with changes across Google Ads and the wider paid media landscape, ensuring clients continue to benefit from industry best practice.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, solving problems and continuously improving performance. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses across different industries, giving you exposure that simply isn’t possible within a single in-house role.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who’s already started their paid media journey and is ready to take the next step within an agency environment.

You’ll ideally have practical experience managing or supporting Google Ads campaigns and be comfortable working with campaign data to identify opportunities for optimisation. Whether your experience has come from an agency or an in-house marketing team, we’re primarily looking for someone with strong foundations, curiosity and the desire to keep learning.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Practical experience managing or supporting Google Ads campaigns.
  • Exposure to Performance Max campaigns and an understanding of how they fit within broader account strategies.
  • Knowledge of campaign structure, keyword research, bidding strategies, audience targeting and budget management.
  • Confidence interpreting campaign data and using insights to improve performance.
  • An understanding of key PPC metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS and conversion rate.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workload across multiple campaigns and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • An interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can improve campaign management and efficiency.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads or Google Tag Manager would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
  • Previous agency experience would be beneficial, although candidates moving from an in-house environment are equally encouraged to apply.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude with a genuine passion for digital marketing and helping clients succeed.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who’s naturally curious, enjoys problem solving and wants to build a long-term career within paid media.

Benefits

Alongside a competitive salary of up to £35k depending on your experience, you’ll be joining an agency that genuinely believes in supporting its people both professionally and personally. There’s a strong focus on learning, career development and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with plenty of opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow.

The package includes an annual bonus of up to 10% based on both company and individual performance, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service to 30 days) and you’ll also benefit from hybrid and flexible working, structured training programmes, ongoing career development, opportunities to attend industry conferences, company pension, healthcare plan, enhanced maternity and paternity policies, and a calendar of regular socials, team lunches, charity events and twice-yearly company celebrations.

The usual hybrid pattern is two days a week in Central London, with the rest remote/WFH.
