We’re working with a growing, highly regarded professional services firm in central Bristol that is looking to hire a Bids and Business Development Executive to join their established marketing and growth team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the structure and challenge of formal bids, tenders and proposals, and wants to play a hands-on role in winning new work. You’ll support the full bid lifecycle, coordinating PQQs, RFPs, ITTs and tender submissions, and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to produce high quality, compliant and compelling proposals that are delivered on time.

Day to day, you’ll manage bid documentation, gather technical and commercial input from subject matter experts, draft and edit responses, and ensure submissions meet evaluation criteria and framework requirements. You’ll act as the central point of coordination across multiple live opportunities, keeping projects on track, managing deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.

The team has an excellent track record of success and will invest in developing your skills, making this a great move for someone ambitious who wants to build a long-term career in bids, proposal management or business development within professional services.

  • Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience within professional services, public sector, education or framework based procurement environments would be advantageous
