We’re working with a growing performance marketing agency in Altrincham that partners with a varied portfolio of eCommerce, retail and direct-to-consumer brands. They’re looking for a Paid Media Executive to join their friendly and ambitious team. This would suit someone with previous experience across either paid search or paid social who is keen to broaden their knowledge and develop into a well-rounded paid media specialist.

You might currently be strongest across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, or you may have more experience managing campaigns through Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn. Experience across both search and social would be ideal, but it isn’t essential, as the agency are happy to train the right person across the areas they have less experience in.

Strong client communication will be particularly important. You’ll manage your own portfolio of accounts, speak directly with clients and help them understand campaign performance, so you’ll need to be confident, commercially aware and comfortable building trusted relationships.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for building, launching and optimising paid media campaigns across a range of platforms, which could include Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat. You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery of campaigns across your own portfolio of clients, monitoring performance, analysing results and identifying opportunities to improve ROI. You’ll also support campaign planning, audience targeting and testing strategies, while working closely with the creative team to develop ad copy and brief new creative assets.

A key part of the role will be preparing performance reports, presenting findings to clients and building strong relationships through clear, confident and proactive communication. You’ll be given the freedom to take ownership of your accounts within a relaxed and supportive agency environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a paid media role, ideally within a digital agency
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns across either paid search or paid social
  • Experience using Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or both
  • An interest in developing your knowledge across both search and social channels
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign data
  • A commercial understanding of performance metrics including ROI, CPA and ROAS
  • Confidence communicating with clients and presenting campaign results
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work
  • A mature and credible communication style, with the ability to build trusted client relationships

You’ll receive a salary of up to £30,000, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and hybrid working, with 4 days in the Altrincham office and one day from home. The agency has a friendly, laid-back culture and a relaxed management style, giving people the freedom to manage their own work without being micromanaged. You’ll also benefit from regular team socials, ongoing learning and development, genuine input into the agency’s growth and the opportunity to progress as the team continues to expand.

If you have experience across either paid search or paid social and would like to join a growing agency where you can broaden your skills, manage your own clients and make a genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you.
