CareScribe are the team behind products like Caption.Ed, which provides real-time captioning for education and the workplace, and TalkType, a powerful speech-to-text tool designed to support neurodiverse users. With strong foundations in place, the business is now entering a new phase of growth, evolving its strategy and repositioning marketing as a core commercial engine.
This Head of Marketing role has clear accountability for pipeline creation, MQL quality, conversion, and overall revenue contribution. The business is shifting towards a more product-led, customer-centric model, with increasing focus on B2B growth alongside an established B2C offering, and early expansion into international markets including North America.
You’ll take ownership of a multi-disciplinary marketing function, leading a team of six with three direct reports at Manager level and three additional specialists. This role requires a strong leader who can bring structure, clarity and commercial focus, while also being comfortable getting hands-on when needed.
A key part of the role will be aligning closely with the sales function to build a scalable, high-performing inbound engine, improving lead quality, consistency of pipeline, and conversion through the funnel. This is not about brand for brand’s sake, it’s about delivering measurable ROI and building a marketing function that drives real business impact.

Skills and Experience- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within a SaaS, technology or scale-up environment
- Strong commercial mindset, with experience owning or materially contributing to pipeline, MQL generation and revenue growth
- Experience working closely with sales teams to improve lead quality, conversion rates and end-to-end funnel performance
- Track record of delivering full-funnel marketing strategies across demand generation, acquisition, engagement and retention
- Experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to bring structure and accountability
- Comfortable operating across both B2B and B2C environments, ideally with exposure to product-led growth
- Strong digital marketing capability across performance, lifecycle and acquisition channels
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
- Data-driven approach, with strong understanding of marketing metrics, attribution and ROI
- Willingness to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery where needed

There’s a competitive salary on offer in the region of £65,000–£75,000, alongside a hybrid working model of two days in the office and three from home.
