Manufacturing & Supply Chain Transformation Director in Irvine

DTG is a Life Sciences advisory company specialising in life sciences business transformation. We provide strategic business and technology advice to manufacturing organisations across the life sciences sector.

We are now launching a new Manufacturing Services offering focused on supply chain strategy, manufacturing operational efficiency, and business performance transformation.

This is a key leadership role to define, build, and lead this service.

The Opportunity

You will lead the creation and growth of DTG’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain Transformation business.

This service will provide experienced life sciences professionals to partner directly with manufacturing and supply chain organisations. The focus is on delivering measurable transformation across operations, performance, and capability.

DTG brings together deep manufacturing experience with digital, data, and software capability. This creates a unique and differentiated offering in the market.

You will shape how this is taken to market and delivered to clients.

The preferred start date is June/July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Transformation strategy.
• Build and grow a high-performing team.
• Develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Lead delivery of manufacturing and supply chain transformation programmes.
• Partner with DTG digital, data, and software teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Establish DTG as a recognised leader in life sciences manufacturing advisory and transformational services.

About You

• 10+ years’ experience in life sciences manufacturing.
• Strong leadership experience in complex environments.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Proven track record delivering transformation or operational improvement.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in business development.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
