Digital Skills are working with a large, digital business, based in Worcester. The client is growing and is looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to help with migration, optimisation and tuning for an Azure platform. The client is a private sector organisation, however supports Government and Military organisations and as such are looking for candidates who have the ability to undergo SC Security Clearance.
About the role:
- You will work on Azure infrastructure, helping the client to scale their platform integrating with end client services in an agile way.
- You will work heavily in Microservices and will be responsible for:
- Designing and managing microservices (Kubernetes)
- Automating using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Supporting customers
This role will be to join a large team who are geographically spread across the world, however as you will be primarily focused on one UK Government client, you will be based in the UK.
About you:
- The role is customer facing, as such you will be a strong communicator, with great interpersonal and written/verbal skills.
- You will be data savvy and happy working as part of a team, or under your own initiative.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiar with Linux systems
- Experience with databases
- Cloud Security experience and understanding
