The Role

We’re looking for an expert Lead Integration Architect with deep experience in AWS cloud and application architecture. You’ll be the go-to technical lead across complex digital transformation and integration programmes—defining architecture, assuring delivery, and aligning multi-supplier solutions to strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of scalable cloud-native (AWS) application and integration architectures.
  • Provide strategic technical direction and mentorship to client and delivery teams.
  • Ensure end-to-end integration across complex systems, platforms, and suppliers.
  • Conduct technical assurance and governance of cloud and application solutions.
  • Shape technology roadmaps and drive transition planning across cloud and legacy environments.
  • Work closely with commercial and delivery teams to align architecture with business and technical needs.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and governance standards (e.g. GDPR).
  • Champion architectural best practices and document design decisions and patterns.

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in senior architecture roles, with a strong focus on cloud (AWS), integration, and application architecture.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation and integration initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of API-led integration, microservices, and cloud-native design.
  • Experience in system integration across multi-supplier ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of secure cloud delivery and regulatory compliance.
  • Skilled in architecture methods and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Security Clearance: The role will be primarily working with Government end clients, as such you need to be eligible for Security Clearance. This means that you must be a Permanent UK resident, who has lived in the UK for the last 5 years, continuously.
