Digital Skills has partnered with an organisation undertaking a major transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), entity resolution, and modern cloud data platforms to help shape the future of enterprise data management.
This role sits at the intersection of Master Data Management, cloud architecture, data governance, and enterprise data integration, with responsibility for designing how trusted data is created, managed, and consumed across a complex digital ecosystem.
The Opportunity
You'll lead the design of architecture that enables accurate, scalable, and governed data matching capabilities across multiple business domains. Working alongside engineering, platform, and governance teams, you'll define how critical data assets flow through a modern cloud-based environment while ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance are embedded from the outset.
This position is particularly suited to architects who have delivered MDM, entity resolution, customer data, identity data, or large-scale data management programmes, and who enjoy solving complex data integration challenges at enterprise scale.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background delivering solution architecture within enterprise data environments
- Experience designing and integrating Master Data Management (MDM) or entity resolution capabilities
- Expertise across AWS services including storage, security, and data integration
- Experience working with Databricks and modern Lakehouse architectures
- Knowledge of data products, data contracts, governance, and quality frameworks
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code approaches such as Terraform
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- POLE data models (People, Objects, Locations, Events)
- Public sector or regulated industry experience
- Experience delivering customer, identity, reference data, or enterprise data management programmes
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale transformation programme, influencing architectural decisions that will underpin enterprise-wide data capabilities for years to come.
If you're an experienced Solution Architect with a background in MDM, AWS, Databricks, and enterprise data integration, and hold active SC Clearance, we'd be keen to hear from you.
