A large digital business based in Worcester is looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to assist with migration, optimisation, and tuning for an Azure platform. The role involves working on Azure infrastructure, helping the client scale their platform while integrating with end client services in an agile manner.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and managing microservices (Kubernetes)
- Automating using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps
- Database management (SQL or Oracle)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Supporting customers
This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as it is customer-facing. You should be data savvy and comfortable working as part of a team or independently.
Technical Skills:
- Strong Azure Platform/DevOps experience
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Database management experience (SQL or Oracle)
- Familiarity with Linux systems
- Cloud Security experience and understanding
