A well‑established global organisation is seeking a Junior Business Controller to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The team supports business leaders with insight, forecasting and performance analysis in a fast‑moving and increasingly data‑driven environment.
You will join a high‑performing FP&A team, supporting a core business area with financial insight, planning and analysis. Reporting into a senior finance leader, you will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting and day‑to‑day performance monitoring.
The position sits close to commercial decision‑making, giving you the opportunity to influence outcomes through clear analysis, strong business partnering and actionable recommendations.
- Extract, transform and present financial and operational data in a clear, structured and stakeholder‑friendly manner.
- Maintain and enhance key reports, metrics and finance workflows, identifying and flagging data quality issues.
- Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Produce variance analysis with meaningful commentary, conclusions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to understand performance drivers and emerging trends.
- Contribute to improving planning and forecasting processes to support a growing and changing organisation.
- Own elements of commercial tracking processes, including model maintenance, reconciliations and validations.
- Support ad‑hoc commercial and analytical projects, providing insight on financial impact and performance.
ACCA, CIMA or similar. Strong Excel skills; Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience desirable). Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
