This role is for an experienced Lead Solution Architect to support major programmes of work. You will take ownership of solution design across infrastructure and platform domains, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and cloud best practices.
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for large and complex programmes.
- Design AWS-based infrastructure and platform solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Engage senior technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape architectural direction.
- Define and govern architectural standards, patterns and principles.
- Provide architectural oversight to delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure effective handover and knowledge transfer between teams.
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Solution Architect.
- Strong AWS experience across infrastructure and platform services.
- Broad architectural knowledge across infrastructure, platform and cloud domains.
- Experience operating within enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
- Active SC clearance.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in AWS and platform architecture. You will be comfortable leading architecture on complex programmes, influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring solutions are robust, secure and aligned to enterprise standards.
