Digital Skills are working with a niche consultancy, a specialist in providing AWS and technology services across the UK Government. The client are undegoing rapid expansion and as such are recruiting for a number of specialist Java Software Engineers.
About the role
You will be working as part of a large and integrated team, providing software and platform solutions to a UK Central Government department. The team are responsibe for implementing software design, development and testing solutions based upon Java in to AWS private cloud infrastrucuture.
- You will join a full team of engineers and business focuse analysts, responsible for requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery
- You will build applications using Java, deployed in highly secure AWS cloud
- You will be responsible for full stack development, using Java and React
- The role is remote with travel up to twice per month
About you
- Experienced Java Software Engineer
- React and Javascript experience
- Exposure to full stack software development
- AWS or secure cloud experience
- Eligible for SC Clearance (UK Passport or permanent resident in the UK).
This role will be working with the UK Government as the end client, as such, you will have to be eligible for SC Clearance; as such you must be a UK Citizen or permanent resident.
The client are an AWS Premier partner and a world class firm in regards to building, implementing and managing highly secure AWS infrastructure. The company are building teams and offer clear career progresion with opportunities to move into Architecture and customer facing roles.
