Fact-Checking Editor Contract - Hybrid London

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of international news writing and/or editing experience
  • Demonstrated experience editing under tight deadlines and sharing constructive feedback with journalists
  • Strong reporting and writing skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proven interest in covering U.S. and European politics and deep knowledge of misinformation trends
  • Experience working in OSINT/fact-checking/misinformation/digital verification
  • Strong news judgment
  • Ability to identify emerging trends and misinformation
  • Proven ability to work nimbly and quickly with multiple teams
  • Fluency in another language is a plus
