Location: Hybrid - Occasional travel to Manchester (up to once a week)

Rate: Up to £60 per hour (Inside IR35) - based on a 37.5-hour working week

Company Overview:

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Digital Designer to lead and drive the digital design vision for their Learning & Development offering. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of digital design and branding for Learning & Development initiatives, safeguarding quality, consistency, and learner experience across internal and external content. You will also lead vendor relationships and continuously innovate in the development and delivery of digital learning solutions aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the digital design strategy for global Learning & Development programmes.
  • Create, organise, and maintain a centralized digital knowledge base, including governance of content quality, asset management, licenses, and templates.
  • Safeguard branding and visual content integrity across all digital learning assets.
  • Research, design, and develop learner-centric experiences catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure consistent delivery of digital learning strategies.
  • Lead the continuous innovation strategy, exploring new learning technologies and methodologies to enhance learner experiences.
  • Lead and coach teams in digital content creation, ensuring human-centered design principles are followed throughout.
  • Support project delivery by forming collaborative partnerships between SMEs, stakeholders, and content teams.
  • Benchmark internal learning technologies against industry developments to ensure best practice.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • 5+ years' experience in learning digital design and content curation.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning design methodologies and advances in learning technologies.
  • Proven experience developing storyboards, scripts, and instructional text aligned to learning objectives.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple, complex business requirements and multi-project environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Authoring tools: Vyond, Articulate
  • Experience with LMS platforms (preferably Docebo)
  • End-to-end content creation with expertise in digital design
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills
