I am partnering with a high-growth offensive security / exposure management scale-up (nearly $30m in funding) that helps large enterprises and critical infrastructure providers understand how they could be compromised in real time. They run a global, hyper-realistic honeypot network and combine real attacker telemetry, proactive threat intelligence and automated offensive techniques to give security teams time to respond before attackers succeed.

The role for the Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst (Honeypots) is absolutely critical to their honeypot-led threat intelligence capability. You will sit close to their research team and focus on turning large-scale honeypot data into actionable insights for customers and the wider community.

You will:

  • Lead analysis of large-scale honeypot telemetry to identify adversary behaviour, new campaigns and exploitation patterns
  • Design and deploy detections for N-day and 0-day exploits using global honeypot data
  • Build and maintain CTI platforms that ingest, analyse and alert on emerging threats in real time
  • Operationalise external threat intel (reports, feeds, advisories) into internal systems
  • Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports for internal stakeholders and external audiences
  • Support rapid reaction efforts, including clear messaging to customers and partners on new threats

The person for the Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst (Honeypots) should have:

  • Excellent experience with cybersecurity platforms or security telemetry at scale, with significant honeypot exposure
  • A role specifically in a Threat Intelligence role
  • Strong experience with Threat and Vulnerability Intelligence
  • Hands-on experience analysing honeypot data and logs
  • Intermediate Python skills for automation, data parsing and custom tooling
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth B2B startup
  • Incident Response or SOC background is a strong plus
