Overview

Your role

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the position will lead and/or support project procurement activities and other initiatives in the areas of supply chain and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement procurement strategies for equipment and related services supporting new data center construction projects at Digital Realty.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery timelines in alignment with project schedules and cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, and Construction.
  • Manage the day-to-day procure-to-pay (P2P) process and act as the liaison between project management and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Drive supply chain improvements through strategic sourcing, process optimization, and supplier performance management.
  • Organize, maintain, and oversee supplier contracts, including the management and execution of all related change orders.
  • Track and report supply chain cost savings, comparing actual results against targets.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate KPI surveys with internal stakeholders to support the Strategic Supplier Management program.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining the P2P process.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies related to Supply Chain and Procurement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on project-based purchasing.
  • Proven success in procuring, negotiating, and contracting across multiple categories.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation.
  • Experience with direct responsibility for contract development and execution.
  • Proficiency in a range of software applications, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
