Your role

The Subregional Head of Security is responsible for safeguarding Digital Realty’s assets, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational continuity across the sub-region. The role leads security strategy execution, oversees physical security operations, and ensures alignment with global security standards through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and implement sub-regional security strategy aligned with global objectives
  • Oversee physical security operations including access control, CCTV and site security
  • Act as escalation point for security incidents and drive resolution and prevention
  • Manage security vendors, contracts, SLAs and performance
  • Lead, coach and develop security teams across multiple sites
  • Own sub-regional security budget, resource planning and cost optimisation
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, audits and certifications (SOC2, ISO, PCI)
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk registers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies including law enforcement
  • Support customer audits, site visits and security-related reporting

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant experience in multi-site security management
  • Degree qualified and/or ASIS CPP (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management and best practices
  • Experience managing third-party security providers
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
