Overview

In this role you will coordinate local data center security to support global security processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, training, audits, and incident response are effectively executed. You’ll drive improvements to security procedures and risk mitigation across DC operations. This is a hands-on security coordination role with a focus on people, processes, and access control, contributing to a safer data center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate security requirements for local Data Centers (DCs)
  • Execute tasks per the Deliveries and Removals process
  • Ensure security training for staff and external providers
  • Conduct security audits and inspections, and support on-demand audits
  • Handle first point escalations related to security issues and visitor questions
  • Support emergency drills and security tests
  • Assist site visits and verify security standards
  • Manage external visitor access rights
  • Create regular reports for Operations and customers
  • Advise Security on process improvements and modifications

Key requirements

  • Higher education with professional qualifications in Risk management or Security management
  • Relevant security department experience
  • Intermediate experience with security systems and processes
  • Intermediate experience with mechanical and electrical access control systems
  • Intermediate experience in managing security tests, drills and trainings
  • Familiar with DC Operations and security processes
  • Ability to identify security or BCM risks and propose solutions
  • Advanced knowledge in security management
  • Fluent English
