As the BMS Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of critical projects within the Building Management System (BMS) Platform Lifecycle program. This role focuses on managing initiatives such as system replacements, global end-of-life (EOL) BMS controller replacements, annual BMS software upgrades, and other BMS-related projects. You will ensure projects are executed with excellence, align with organizational strategy and industry best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the BMS platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of BMS Platform Lifecycle projects, including system replacements, global EOL BMS controller replacements, and annual BMS software upgrades, ensuring initiatives support Global Operations and datacenter reliability.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, budget, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and quality controls tailored to datacenter environments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for BMS program communications with executives, clients, and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve high-impact risks and issues specific to BMS platforms, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain facility uptime.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance in BMS lifecycle projects.
  • Oversee project governance and reporting, preparing and presenting progress reports, performance metrics, and financial updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the BMS platform by applying lessons learned from completed projects to optimize future performance and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety protocols across all phases of BMS lifecycle management projects.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of program management experience delivering large-scale projects in data centers with a BMS focus, IT infrastructure, or similar environments.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects with complex, multi-phase scopes.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
