If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description. Digital Realty (DLR) is one of the world’s critical digital infrastructure companies, delivering state-of-the-art data center and colocation services across the globe. As we accelerate our go-to-market transformation, we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead efforts focused on one of the most complex components of our business model—Joint Venture (JV) partnerships.
The Director, JV Go-to-Market Integration will be responsible for reducing the operational and strategic complexity arising from DLR’s growing portfolio of JV partnerships. These JVs play a vital role in our international market access and capital strategy, but have varied rules of engagement, bespoke operational boundaries, and limited technology and data integration. This role will drive alignment across our JV GTM activities through deep analysis, stakeholder coordination, and pragmatic integration strategies. This is a high-visibility, hands-on leadership position ideally suited for a candidate with deep experience in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and global go-to-market models. Program management expertise and an understanding of complex cross-border operating models are critical.
What you’ll do
- JV Strategy & Operating Model Rationalization
- Inventory and map existing JV GTM procedures, constraints, and decision-making structures across global regions.
- Evaluate governance mechanisms, commercial rules of engagement, and revenue attribution models in use.
- Create detailed documentation of the current state and make recommendations to simplify, standardize, or harmonize practices where possible.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on JV GTM risk, opportunity, and strategic alignment.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Relationship Management
- Act as a liaison between DLR and JV partners to ensure mutual understanding of go-to-market expectations and operational boundaries.
- Facilitate joint working sessions with JV sales, marketing, operations, IT, and legal teams to clarify roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths.
- Build trusted relationships across internal teams (Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, Technology) and externally with JV stakeholders.
- Technology & Process Integration
- Lead due diligence efforts to assess opportunities for technology enablement across DLR/JV engagements, including CRM, CPQ, customer data, order management, and reporting systems.
- Recommend and prioritize integration or interfacing strategies, where applicable, to improve visibility, collaboration, and reporting.
- Coordinate with DLR IT, Security, and Compliance teams to evaluate risks and define secure integration models or alternatives.
- Define and manage a global program roadmap to simplify JV GTM engagement and integration.
- Deliver measurable progress against key transformation KPIs, such as deal velocity, seller experience, and JV revenue growth.
- Provide regular updates to the executive leadership team and relevant steering committees.
What you’ll need
- Required 10+ years of relevant experience in joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, strategic programs, or enterprise transformations.
- Strong knowledge of go-to-market operations in B2B technology or digital infrastructure industries.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in matrixed, multi-stakeholder environments with competing objectives.
- Track record of driving business process and systems alignment across entities with separate governance.
- Excellent program management skills; PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Preferred
- Experience working in or supporting joint ventures with limited technology integration and varying operational models.
- Prior exposure to international markets and cross-border commercial relationships.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent CRM/ERP systems.
- Background in data center, telecom, or infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) business models.
