The Subregional Project Controls Manager will oversee all aspects of cost and commercial management, schedule and risk controls, and financial reporting for data centre construction projects within their region.
You will act as a technical leader in project controls, ensuring full compliance with DLR’s governance framework while optimizing capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) to achieve the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) outcomes.
What you'll do
- Lead all aspects of cost control and commercial management across multiple data centre construction projects.
- Partner with Construction Delivery teams to apply schedule and risk management standards across your subregion.
- Manage project budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and cost reporting in line with DE&C Budget Tracking Template and Construction Accounting standards.
- Oversee change management, invoice review, and owner change order processes to maintain financial accuracy.
- Conduct value management reviews to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Preconstruction, and Regional Directors to ensure budget alignment and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain robust cost governance, reporting dashboards, and benchmarking metrics.
- Ensure commercial transparency and timely escalation of risks and cost variances.

- Strong background in cost management, financial forecasting, and risk management methodologies.
