Your role involves creating effective and engaging training content to meet the needs of global and regional audiences. This role works closely with modules, instructor-led training content, and job aids. You will assist in content development projects from concept through delivery and help ensure materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with learning objectives. The role also contributes to ongoing content design for implementation in our digital learning platform.
What you’ll do
- Training Content Development
- Collaborate with other Operations Learning Specialists and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and update training materials.
- Create and format engaging instructional content including presentations, manuals, eLearning modules, videos, and quick-reference guides.
- Apply instructional design principles and templates to organize and simplify complex topics for learners.
- Participate in content review cycles and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.
- Instructional Design Support
- Assist in applying instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE) to develop effective learning experiences.
- Support content creation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Help identify opportunities to improve learning outcomes through updated content, visual enhancements, or revised instructional approaches.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Maintenance
- Assist with the building and updating of training materials to align with the requirements in the Digital University (LMS).
- Monitor participation, completion data, and evaluation feedback to support reporting and content improvement.
- Identify outdated content and flag it for archival or revision.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with SME team members and regional stakeholders to understand training needs and gather content requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews to support project progress.
- Ensure all communication is clear, timely, and aligned with project expectations.
What you’ll need
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience
- Experience developing training or instructional content, preferably in a corporate technical or operations environment.
- Skills
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or similar (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow style guides and templates.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Experience publishing eLearning content to SCORM.
- Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g. Camtasia, Adobe Premiere) or image editing (e.g. Photoshop).
- Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Certifications
- Instructional design certifications (ATD, CPLP, etc.) (Preferred)
- Additional Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative global team.
- Ability to travel as required globally.
