About The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
  • BIM Manager to oversee our entire Production department, based in

London and working on global projects.

The BIM Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and technologies within the organisation.

This role involves coordinating with various project teams, ensuring the integration of BIM standards, and enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of project delivery.

The BIM Manager will also lead training initiatives and support the development of BIM capabilities across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and procedures.
  • Lead Project BIM Coordinators and manage Revit Technician workloads.
  • Develop BIM Execution Plans, project standards and digital workflows to support consistent project delivery
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and project support to architectural and interior design teams
  • Lead and manage the BIM process for various projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the effective integration of BIM models.
  • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and provide support to project teams.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide training and support to staff on BIM software and processes.
  • Manage and resolve BIM-related issues and conflicts.
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Coordinate with IT departments to ensure the proper functioning and updating of BIM software and hardware.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for BIM models and data
  • Stay informed on advancements in building technology.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Training
  • Experience 5+ years of experience with point cloud data
  • Understanding of IPMS 1 & 2.
  • Strong understanding of BIM Execution Plans, project standards and digital delivery processes
  • Experience working within ISO 19650 and Common Data Environment workflows
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Driving the production and delivery of high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings in accordance with DRC’s standards and any project-specific standards agreed with our clients.
  • Drive modelling standards across third party production teams (India, Vietnam)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in BIM management.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as ACC, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 and Auto CAD.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in BIM or related fields is advantageous.

NB: The successful candidate will be required to pass our security screening procedures and those of our clients where applicable.
