Vacancy for Senior Archivist at University of WestminsterVacancy for Senior Archivist at University of Westminster 3 January 2023LondonFull-TimeWe are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and committed individual to support the provision of an effective professional archives and records management service, with particular emphasis on facilitating access and discovery of the University of Westminster Archive collections.Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Collection management and development, including supporting records management activities and the acquisition of digital records.
- Cataloguing using the University\’s archival management system AtoM.
- Arranging appointments, answering enquiries, assisting and supervising researchers and visitors.
- Working collaboratively with academic colleagues in the development of learning and teaching resources associated with the University\’s history and archive collections.
- Supporting and developing a range of outreach activities including presentations, tours and exhibitions (including online).
You should have meticulous organisational ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
