The National Archives is seeking an IT Configuration and Device Management Specialist to join our IT Operations team. The role involves leading device management technology services and overseeing IT Asset and Configuration Management.
The National Archives holds over 13 million items, including the Domesday Book, Shakespeare’s will, and wartime records. We serve as the official archive and publisher for the UK government, safeguarding over 1,000 years of national documents. Our IT Operations department comprises 36 staff across various multidisciplinary teams, dedicated to delivering efficient and up-to-date technology services.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop and support The National Archives’ technology systems. You will be part of the Service Operations Team, focusing on Device, Configuration, and Asset Management, and collaborating with Service Delivery Teams on deploying end-user technologies such as desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. You will play a key role in shaping how configuration management and asset processes are implemented, leveraging your industry knowledge and best practices to foster a high-performing, service-oriented team environment.
