The National Library of Wales is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join the Library's Leadership Team as Head of Collections Care.
The post-holder will be responsible for leading efforts to safeguard, preserve, and maintain collections ranging from paper items and artworks to diverse digital materials. You will provide strategic leadership, manage and implement conservation policies, and inspire experienced, specialist teams within the newly established Department of Collections Care.
This role requires experience in managing information systems or collections, as well as the ability to collaborate nationally and internationally.
Note: This job requires Welsh Language skills to the following levels according to the ALTE framework: Listening/speaking – 3, Reading/comprehension – 3; Writing – 3.
