The University of Edinburgh’s Information Services Group (ISG) now welcomes applications from undergraduate students who are interested in working over the summer as a Digital Preservation Intern.

The successful student will support ISG’s Website and Communication team to identify, appraise, and catalogue existing materials related to graphic design work created by the university’s Graphic Design Service.

Where appropriate, the successful student will help transform materials into sustainable formats that can be archived and accessed in the University’s digital archive.

The goal will be to create a digital archive which showcases the work of the Graphic Design Service, and allows teams across the University to access these materials for future reference or re-use and to preserve them for the long-term in the University archives.
