We are looking for a Digital Archives Relocation (DAR) Project Lead to join our Parliamentary Archives office at House of Lords. This position involves working within a project timetable, alongside the Archive Relocation Programme and Parliamentary Archives staff, to lead the preparation work and plan and deliver the Digital Archive Relocation project.
The DAR Project Lead will also line manage two project archivists, who will ensure catalogue data and digital records held in Parliamentary Archives systems are sufficiently prepared for their migration and transfer to The National Archives (TNA).
This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, depending on business need. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in digital projects, a strong understanding of collections management systems, digital preservation, or data migration in a project context.
