The Parliamentary Archives is in the process of relocating from Westminster to The National Archives (TNA) in Kew. The move of our physical collections is well underway, and we're now working on transferring our digital data. This includes born-digital and digitised records, catalogue metadata related to our physical and digital holdings, and other digital and web content.
We are looking for 2 Archivists to join the Digital Archive Relocation Project in our Parliamentary Archives Office at the House of Lords. These roles involve ensuring that catalogue data and digital records held in Parliamentary Archives systems are adequately prepared for migration and transfer to TNA. Each position will have responsibility for one of the two main systems used by the Parliamentary Archives for preserving and managing collections – Preservica (Enterprise Edition) and Axiell CALM.
