Loughborough University Library is seeking applicants for the role of Archivist. Reporting to the Content Provision and Access Lead, you will support the University Library’s content provision activity by managing the University Archive service, overseeing the development of the physical and digital collections of the University Archive, and ensuring these are preserved, discoverable and accessible for the purposes of teaching and research.

Loughborough University is a great place to work, it’s highly regarded in the sector being ranked top ten in every national league table and the Library receives excellent staff and student feedback. The postholder will be instrumental in helping to build upon this by developing the University Archive.

This is an exciting time to join the University Library Service as we roll out our plan for the future – The Library Blueprint and as the University moves to implement its new strategy. This is a 0.5fte permanent post based at our East Midlands Loughborough Campus.
