The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) seeks to employ a Community Engagement Manager and an Administration Manager. The former is a newly established position, while the latter is an established post recently vacated. Both roles are available immediately for an initial period of 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in high-profile roles within an organization that is rapidly changing and growing. Recruitment will be based at the DPC offices in Glasgow, with roles starting immediately. Both positions aim to enhance the profile and efficiency of this growing, strategically important, and global membership organization. You will contribute to organizational goals during a significant period of change and growth, including the DPC’s 20th anniversary year, the Digital Preservation Awards, and the iPres Conference.
The roles involve fostering closer and more productive collaboration among the 121 members of the Coalition, as well as with partners and allies worldwide. The DPC is a dynamic organization that values practical insights and continuous improvement. Candidates are encouraged to innovate and enhance existing plans and tools. Although the roles are distinct, they will work closely together on shared objectives.
- Community Engagement Manager: This role focuses on delivering the DPC’s first strategic objective—Community Engagement—aimed at encouraging and sustaining participation within the Coalition and its activities. The role will support all strategic objectives through communications and engagement initiatives.
- Administration Manager: This role is pivotal in delivering the sixth strategic objective—Management and Governance—focused on efficient administration and transparency. Responsibilities include providing critical administrative and financial functions to support organizational effectiveness.
