The Repository Team Leader (Enlighten Services) will ensure delivery of all operational aspects of the University of Glasgow’s open repositories, notably ‘Enlighten: Publications’, ‘Enlighten: Theses’, ‘Enlighten: Dissertations’, and ‘EdShare’, Glasgow’s open educational resources repository.

The post holder’s oversight of these services and their adherence to quality research output description will support essential operational research functions at the institution and they will play a key role in contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the Team.

They will support the implementation of strategic goals and research exercises involving repository content and metadata, including within the UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) and within the wider open research ecosystem.

The delivery of expert advice and guidance to key stakeholders on best sectoral practice will be required, as will the ability to make key operational decisions in support of the Enlighten services.

In furtherance of the institutional desire for exceptional repository services, the post holder will also be expected to work closely with members of the adjacent Research Information Management (RIM) team and Archives & Special Collections (ASC), to ensure a coherent service offering to University users.
