The DCC is looking for a Research Data Specialist to join our team and lead our Research Data Management Training programme. You will work on a range of projects in our portfolio, including Consultancy and EC-funded research projects.
The post offers an excellent opportunity to work with a renowned centre of expertise in Digital Curation, Research Data Management and Open Research. The post-holder will take a leading role in continuing the development and delivery of the DCC's programme of skills development and training, building on a programme of activity that stretches through 16 years. They will also contribute to the DCC's portfolio of research projects and consultancy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop international networks through the DCC's collaborations with top-tier research institutions worldwide.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Proven sound knowledge and understanding of the digital curation and preservation community and its stakeholders.
- Significant experience in provision of specialist technical training.
- Experience gained performing or supporting research in a focused disciplinary area (e.g. biomedical research, engineering, etc.).
- Developed organisational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
