This rapidly growing Digital Marketing Agency is looking for a UX Designer to join their team. Knowledge of general CRO/Hotjar tool would be beneficial as is the ability to communicate with other developers and the wider creative team. The agency works across all elements of digital from strategy, paid media, organic search, social, website UX, CRO, CRM and even mentoring and coaching. This role would suit someone looking to move into an independent agency environment which offers more client responsibility and interaction including regular on-site visits.
The role requires a thoughtful and strategic UX designer who can transform data-led insights into actionable UX improvements. You will be working with a wide range of interesting clients from major technology brands to ecommerce, healthcare and hospitality with the goal to make the onsite experience simpler and easier for customers to increase online leads and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse user browsing journeys to suggest improvements to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
- Use data-led insights to identify customer pain points and opportunities to improve user experience.
- Develop hypotheses for UX improvements and create ideas for personalisation opportunities and A/B tests.
- Create designs for suggested UX and UI changes that fit within the client’s website design guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the technical feasibility of any on-site changes or UX improvements.
- Adapt to challenges identified by customer insight and customer service teams.
- Help identify key UX metrics to track alongside conversion rates, to develop a holistic understanding of the customer journey.
- Collaborate with the team in a positive manner to bring joy and success.
- Use creativity without fear to help our clients and team successfully grow.
About you:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a UX role focused on digital experiences.
- You have a portfolio of work that we can review showcasing strategic thinking to solve customer UX challenges.
- Expert in conversion rate optimisation and knowledge of A/B testing tools.
- Experience with UX analytics tools such as heatmaps and session recordings.
- Ability to work with data analysts and developers.
- Strong prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communicator with strong client-facing skills.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment.
- Ecommerce experience preferable but not critical.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field of study.
- 2+ years' of experience in design.
- Proficient in visual design and wire-framing tools.
