We are Digital Natives, a social-first creative agency based in East London. Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content and advertising for our list of global brands, covering FMCG, fashion, beauty, and tech. We’re a hybrid working agency, with time spent in the office and working from home.

This role is for you if… You’re a conceptual Art Director with experience taking ideas from concept through to production. You understand how to turn strategy into great creative work that is on-brand and innovative across social and beyond. You have a great aesthetic eye and can deliver killer visual treatment for both ad campaigns and organic social content. You can also express that vision clearly, both internally and to clients through storyboards, written treatments, references, mock-ups and great presentation skills. You like to get your hands dirty, leaning into all sorts of projects, from big-budget full-crew shoots to creating agile content just you and a content creator in-house. You have practical design and editing skills that can be utilized alongside directing designers, editors and influencers into bringing your vision to life.

You understand social media, at least from a user perspective, but extra points if you already have experience creating for this space – at DN we live and breathe social and an ability to learn and challenge best practices is a must.

Day-to-day you’ll be …

  • Translating creative briefs into creative concepts (with others and alone) for advertising
  • Ideating and creating content for organic platforms
  • Working across Adobe suite to deliver designs, moodboards, storyboards and any other creative collateral
  • Pitching/sharing ideas with the ECD and clients as the visual and social-first expert
  • Writing creative treatments and developing your ideas into campaign assets
  • Art directing video/photography shoots and post-production/design
  • Developing look and feel for campaigns
  • Creating pre-production documents such as shot lists etc

You should apply if…

  • You have 5+ years experience in a creative role either in an agency or in-house
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • You have experience directing video and photo shoots and delivering assets
  • You have experience directing and overseeing design work
  • You have great attention to detail and are a good collaborator
  • You understand creative processes and techniques
  • You can manage your time effectively to work across multiple projects and to deadlines
  • You can work effectively with social media strategy
