We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst Apprentice at our Head Office in Sittingbourne. Within this role, you will be completing a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. You will learn how to use dashboard and visualisation tools alongside programming languages for data analysis including SQL, Python and R, completing the below topics:
- Data classification
- The data lifecycle
- Structured and unstructured data
- Requirements for data analysts
- Quality issues for data analysis
- Data visualisation
- Compliance and audit administration
- Data structures
- Database design, implementation and maintenance
- Data architecture
- Domain context for data analytics
The purpose of the Data Analyst Apprentice is to transform raw data into meaningful and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business improvements. This position involves collecting, processing, and analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. The Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, provides accurate reports and visualisations, and ensures the integrity and quality of the data. The Data Analyst contributes to enhancing operational efficiency by using data tools and analysis to encourage data-driven improvements within the organisation.
What we’d love for you to have:
- Level 3 qualification (such as A-levels in STEM subjects, Statistics, Maths or BTEC equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
- GCSE's in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
- Strong analytical skills and some experience with Microsoft Excel, particularly functionalities like pivot tables and XLookup.
