We are looking for a full-time Media Monitor with strong modern language skills to join our growing Media Intelligence team. The position will involve monitoring print, broadcast and online media for our key international clients’ campaigns across various territories, helping to deliver accurate coverage reports as well as maintaining strong relationships with both clients and suppliers. Proficiency in either German and/or Portuguese is essential. Other languages are a bonus.

DMS, part of the AKA Group of companies, was established in 2002 and has over 100 employees. From our facilities based in London and LA we provide digital creative and media intelligence services to our clients that comprise of major film and TV studios, leading independent film distributors, West End and Broadway theatres, cultural institutions, sports, music and fashion companies.

The Role

  • Monitor international media across various markets and media types
  • Identify media to be captured and stored accordingly
  • Read and evaluate press and online articles according to client needs and defined parameters
  • Upload and categorise key television and radio clips in accordance with client brief
  • Update internal database as required with details of media coverage found
  • Create and deliver client reports to defined deadlines
  • Prioritising key events, releases, and asset drops
  • Provide first-class customer service in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, responding to client feedback and actioning solutions
  • Be fully cross trained in other areas of the media intelligence team, assisting when required

Skills Required

  • Ability to speak, write and read in either German and/or Portuguese
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage, specifically Italian, French and Dutch
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential
  • Passionate about working with film and music clients
  • Enjoy a collaborative/team approach yet able to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to provide first-class customer service in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Great time management and organisation skills are essential
  • Good understanding of basic computer software, hardware systems and video technologies
  • Aptitude and determination to gain new skills and apply them quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail
