We are a full-service creative digital agency. Our people, technology and insights help global media and entertainment, sports and lifestyle brands create, manage, localise, distribute and place their content, and evaluate its media reach.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Operator, who is passionate about the Film & TV Industry, to work within our Technical Operations team responsible for the localisation of TV spots, film trailers and social media content for international release for our prestigious, world-renowned clients. Your role and responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the business, but will include QC of the following content:

  • Short-form localisation content – varying between TV spots, Digital Spots and DOOH OV – Comparing texted and textless OV, making sure stakeholders are aware of any differences relevant for the localisation process.
  • Trailer content – of varying lengths. Trailer work also includes checking original versions and scripts.
  • Feature film content – long form QC which may include completing QC of several different passes and compiling reports on potential faults for records.

Additional duties may include:

  • Monitoring the status of automated QC Services (Vidchecker and Harding).
  • Keeping the rest of the team up to date when issues arise with campaigns or certain types of spots and compiling issues found to a ‘Recurring Issues’ document for the rest of the team to keep track of these errors.
  • Assisting with cross-department training.
  • Assisting with training of new starters.
  • Ad-hoc tasks.

You will be required to work covering the permanent late shift which is Monday to Friday 2:15pm to 10:45pm.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have circa 1 years’ experience using Adobe Premiere and Audition.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of QC workflows and of international broadcast audio specifications.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional aptitude for producing accurate work, being able to thoroughly check visual and audio content for errors and spotting mistakes.
  • Are confident when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, knowing when it is appropriate to convey a message via email and when it is more appropriate to speak to someone in person.
