The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Sales Executive who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys building relationships, networking and creating opportunities. This is not a traditional desk-based sales role. You'll play a key role in representing the business externally, attending events and conferences, developing industry relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You'll work closely with internal teams to support the full sales process, from prospecting through to nurturing opportunities and helping drive continued growth. This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, confident engaging with people and naturally enjoys getting out into the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Relationship Building
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
    • Research target organisations and key decision makers
    • Support outbound sales and prospecting activity
  • Networking & Industry Events
    • Attend industry events, conferences, exhibitions and networking opportunities
    • Represent the business professionally and act as a brand ambassador
    • Build relationships and generate opportunities through industry engagement
    • Follow up and nurture contacts generated through events
  • Lead Generation
    • Source and qualify prospects through LinkedIn, legal directories, industry news and other channels
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
    • Support the sales process from initial contact through to conversion
  • Market & Customer Insight
    • Stay informed on industry developments and market trends
    • Gather customer feedback and insights to support wider business initiatives
    • Identify emerging opportunities within the market
  • CRM & Administration
    • Keep CRM systems updated with activity and pipeline information
    • Support reporting and sales activity tracking
    • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure an excellent customer experience

Experience Required

  • Previous experience within Sales, Business Development, Account Management or a similar client-facing role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable attending events and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Experience generating and managing opportunities
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous
  • Experience within SaaS, technology or legal sectors is desirable but not essential
