We’re seeking a Head of Volunteering to support our expanding team of volunteers, working to bridge the digital divide in the UK. Your role will involve ensuring the quality of volunteer recruitment, induction, and training, as well as celebrating their achievements.

Experience and Skills Needed

  • Educated to a degree level (desirable)
  • Interest in issues regarding the digital divide in the United Kingdom
  • Willingness to dedicate 3-7 hours per week and work remotely

Main Duties and Objectives

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of volunteer-related contributions to DIRH’s mission
  • Oversee centralised recruitment, induction, and training of volunteers
  • Maximise the involvement of volunteers to support the activities of DIRH
  • Seek regular feedback from volunteers to understand and review their experiences and improve programmes
  • Devise ways to recognise and celebrate volunteers’ contributions
