The Senior Product Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping complex, system-level design solutions that elevate user experiences across Flo’s app. This role combines expertise in interaction design, systemic thinking, visual craft, and scalable framework architecture. The Senior Product Designer ensures designs are accessible, inclusive, and emotionally resonant, collaborating with product, engineering, research, and content teams to raise design excellence and contribute to the overall design vision.
Your Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience designing mobile applications.
- Portfolio demonstrating systemic design, advanced interaction design, motion and micro-interaction expertise, and measurable product impact.
- Experience creating scalable frameworks, contributing to design systems and interaction models.
- Proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie).
- Experience using motion and animation tools (e.g., Lottie, Rive, After Effects).
- Experience in AI/LLM-powered design exploration.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Collaborative with experience mentoring design teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing gamified or behaviour-change-driven experiences.
- Experience working in health tech or regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex design projects (0 → 1) creating scalable frameworks and systems supporting growth and innovation.
- Translate ambiguous product and data challenges into clear, user-centered experiences.
- Design features, end-to-end flows, and experiments aligned with user needs and business goals.
- Produce prototypes and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or other tools.
- Develop interaction models, motion principles, and visual systems that scale across teams.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content designers.
- Mentor and support other designers through feedback and knowledge sharing.
- Advocate for emotionally intelligent, ethical design and uphold accessibility standards.
- Contribute to the design system ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and scalability.
