We’re partnering with a market-leading events and exhibitions business that delivers large-scale, international exhibitions and industry communities across multiple sectors.

They’re in the middle of a serious digital transformation – investing heavily in product, UX, engineering, CRM and cloud – with a clear mandate to modernise their technology ecosystem and compete with more digitally mature players in the market.

This is a brand-new UX role, reporting directly into the Head of Product, and working closely with Product, Engineering, CRM, Marketing and Event teams.

The Role

  • Own and design end-to-end experiences across: registration journeys, event apps, exhibitor & sponsor tools, internal platforms, post-event engagement
  • Working on defined journey maps and turning scoped concepts into wireframes and prototypes
  • Taking a single step in a wider journey and refining it into something intuitive and conversion-focused
  • Collaborating with Delivery team once projects move into build
  • Influencing stakeholders who aren’t designers or technologists
  • High-level, strategic UX with hands-on prototyping.

What They’re Looking For

  • Prototype quickly and bring ideas to life
  • Shape user journeys from the ground up
  • Influence non-tech stakeholders (marketing, sales, ops)
  • Proven experience in complex digital ecosystems (not just single-product UX)
  • Strong journey mapping and service design capability
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking
  • Proficiency in Figma

Bonus: Experience in events, exhibitions, marketplaces or similarly complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
