We’ve partnered with a global engineering & manufacturing leader who is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, performance, and reliability of their mission-critical engineering software suite. You’ll act as the first point of contact for global technical support across applications such as Teamcenter, NX, Altair, Doors, Zuken, Automation Studio, and visualisation tools, supporting engineering teams worldwide. In this role, you’ll work across application support, system improvements, deployment of new features, and coordination with infrastructure teams, helping deliver stable, high-performing engineering environments at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd & 3rd line support for global engineering applications
  • Monitor, analyse and report on system performance, identifying and resolving issues
  • Configure, test, and deploy application upgrades and new functionality
  • Support server-side engineering system processes, scheduled tasks, and monitoring
  • Create, manage, and test SCCM deployment packages
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to gather requirements and support new system enhancements
  • Participate in application testing, validation, and project sign-off activities

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting engineering systems or technical applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Hands-on background in application and/or hardware support
  • Experience working with engineering software such as Teamcenter, NX, Altair, Doors, and Zuken
  • Eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
