We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a growing digital team working on complex, customer facing platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automation capability from the ground up and influencing best practice across engineering teams.
The role
You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, working closely with developers, QA and product teams to ensure high quality, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Create scalable, maintainable and reliable automated test solutions
- Define and champion automation best practices across the team
- Collaborate with engineers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tooling
Key skills and experience
- Strong automation experience using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Hands on experience building automation frameworks from the ground up
- Solid understanding of scalable test architecture and maintainable test design
- Experience with API automation is beneficial
- Mobile automation experience using Appium is a plus
- Hybris testing experience is helpful but not essential
Location and working pattern
Hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite near Oxford Street.
