We are hiring a Contract Product Designer (Hybrid - Manchester).

Location: Hybrid (Manchester) twice a month in the office.

Start Date: Next week.

Day Rate: Up to £400/500 per day Outside IR35.

Initial Term: 2-month project (potential for ongoing retainer).

My client, a specialist digital agency with 12+ years of experience, originally rooted in web design but now fully focused on UX, product design, and digital innovation, is looking for a Product Designer to join the team!

The Role

I am looking for a Product Designer with a strong UX focus to join their fast-moving team. You will be responsible for user research, stakeholder collaboration, and designing seamless digital experiences for complex customer-facing web and app products. You will be working on complex, multi-user, multi-process interfaces for web and mobile applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading UX/UI design across multiple projects
  • Conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and service blueprints
  • Working with stakeholders in an agency environment
  • Designing for web-centric, customer-facing platforms
  • Using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Maze, and other UX tools
  • Collaborating in a fast-paced Agile team

We’re Looking For

  • 3-4+ years experience in UX/product design
  • Proven experience working on complex digital products
  • Strong agency background & ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work at high speed without compromising quality
