We’re working with a small, specialist UX and digital transformation agency that partners with clients to improve digital experiences and drive measurable commercial impact. They’re now looking for a highly experienced CRO contractor to join them on a consultancy-style engagement. This is a senior role, where you’ll be expected to shape the CRO approach, influence decision-making, and also be hands‑on with delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading CRO strategy across client digital platforms
- Defining and prioritising testing and optimisation roadmaps
- Hands‑on experimentation, analysis and insight generation
- Working closely with an in‑house Designer, plus the CEO and Head of Design
- Providing clear, commercially focused recommendations to stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Proven background in CRO consultancy and strategy
- Comfortable operating at senior, stakeholder‑facing level
- Happy balancing strategic thinking with practical execution
- Confident working autonomously in a small, agile agency environment
- Designing and running A / B tests
- Experience with tools like Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, GA4
The details:
- Duration: 2-3 months initially
- Rate: circa £400 per day
- Start Date: Mid‑late January 2026
- Location: Agency is Manchester‑based, but the role is fully remote
