We've partnered with one of the most iconic brand organisations in the world, currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own a hybrid Azure and on-premise estate alongside a small, highly skilled team. On event days, you're the person keeping tens of thousands of people moving through access systems, point of sale, digital signage and connectivity infrastructure, technology that cannot fail when it matters most. Every day, you'll be supporting an environment where your work has a direct and visible impact on one of the world's most recognised organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and manage infrastructure across Azure and on-premise Windows environments
  • Provide 3rd line support across M365, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot and Windows Server
  • Own endpoint management, including device compliance, Conditional Access and Autopilot provisioning
  • Support and monitor critical live event operational systems, including turnstiles, EPOS, digital signage and Wi-Fi
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and data teams to ensure platforms are secure, compliant and optimised
  • Manage core networking, including VLANs, VPN, point-to-site and SASE
  • Mentor and develop second and third-line engineers
  • Liaise with managed service partners to deliver contractual solutions

Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Azure experience in hybrid environments, multi-subscription estate, five years established and well-architected
  • Deep Microsoft ecosystem knowledge, M365, E5, Intune, Autopilot, Windows Server
  • Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, identity governance
  • Microsoft Defender suite, Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Sentinel
  • Networking, VLANs, VPN, point-to-site, SASE, DNS, firewalls, load balancing
  • Hyper-V virtualisation and on-premise server management across a 60-70 server estate
  • Calm under pressure in live, high-stakes operational environments
  • Mentoring experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • CI/CD and automation exposure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell desirable
