Team Lead role within a D365/Power Platform environment, leading a cross-functional team and owning the end-to-end delivery of business-critical applications. This is less about hands-on coding and more about technical leadership, architecture oversight, and delivery.

You’ll be guiding a team of developers, BA and QA, setting direction, reviewing solutions, and making sure everything aligns with best practice and wider strategy. You’ll be responsible for sprint planning, backlog management, release oversight, and stakeholder engagement, acting as the bridge between the technical team and the business.

There’s also a major project kicking off later this year alongside BAU work, so plenty of opportunity to shape the roadmap and influence how things are done.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and mentoring a cross-functional delivery team
  • Owning solution design, architecture, and technical quality (incl. code reviews)
  • Managing sprints, backlog, and release cycles in an Agile environment
  • Working closely with stakeholders to prioritise and shape delivery
  • Driving best practice across development, tooling, and processes
  • Supporting hiring, development, and performance of the team

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong background in D365 CE and Power Platform (Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable, secure solutions
  • Previous experience as a Senior/Lead Developer or Technical Lead
  • Proven team leadership experience (2-3+ years) in an Agile/Jira setup
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to challenge and push back when needed
  • Collaborative, calm approach with a focus on mentoring and team development

Nice to have:

  • Experience with integrations (APIs, Azure services, Logic Apps etc.)
  • Exposure to portals / Power Pages and front-end customisation
  • Experience shaping technical roadmaps and managing multiple workstreams

Package: 18-month FTC (potential to extend, but not guaranteed)
