We're working with one of the UK's fastest-growing privately owned retailers to find a Seller Compliance Assistant to join their expanding marketplace team. This is a brand-new role within a newly formed compliance function, so you'll have real ownership from day one and genuine scope to shape how things develop.
The role:
- You'll be a key point of contact for onboarding new sellers - reaching out to them, collecting the documentation we need (such as bank details and compliance information), and working through the approval process to get them trading on our platform.
- Monitoring seller accounts and flagging risk or performance concerns.
- Producing reports on seller performance, orders and compliance metrics.
- Supporting product and catalogue audits to keep listings accurate and compliant.
- Managing operational tickets through systems like Zendesk.
- Maintaining spreadsheets, dashboards and internal records.
- Collaborating with wider teams to resolve seller queries and operational issues.
What we're looking for:
- Some experience in compliance, operations or administration would put you in a strong position here. That said, we're open-minded about backgrounds, and if you're at an earlier stage in your career but can demonstrate the right attitude and a genuine interest in the space, we'd still love to hear from you.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with data and Excel (formulas, filters, lookups).
- Good written communication as you'll be contacting sellers regularly.
- A proactive approach and the ability to pick things up quickly.
- A genuine interest in ecommerce and online retail.
- Experience with tools like Mirakl, Zendesk or Power BI is a bonus, not a requirement.
